Festivals and Large-Scale Public Events
Event Devon partners have co-ordinated and delivered many festival events providing production support from the initial idea to the festival finale, working with many stakeholders on complex projects. From technical provision and site management to communications and promotion, Event Devon can deliver high quality, engaging festivals and public events at a range of scales.
Project Management
Event Devon also offers short- and long-term project management services working from the spark of an idea through to delivery, sustainability planning and evaluation. We are all experienced in working in genuine partnership with many stakeholders to deliver commercial and not-for-profit projects and programmes. Our creative yet practical approach enables us to support your ambitions and enable them to become reality.
As with all of our activity, we tailor what we do to the project, the client and the audience so in some cases, we take on long term project management such as that for the Cornwall Film Festival and for City of Lights. In addition to the event development and delivery itself, we collaborate with the project teams to develop corporate governance, generate funds and sponsorship, business planning, staff management and strategic marketing.
Community Events
Community is a vital and treasured part of the Devon way of life and we work with communities throughout the county and beyond to celebrate their places and people. Many community events are entirely dependent on a few people and Event Devon can support you in alleviating that stress using our professional experience, skills and contacts.
Screenings
One of Devon's greatest assets is the outdoor space and in celebrating this, Event Devon aims to deliver a programme of outdoor screenings of local short films and international features in some of our uniquely appropriate venues. Education Training & Conferences
With a range of experience and skills and a passion for enabling others to achieve their potential, Event Cornwall is committed to supporting further and higher education initiatives in event and arts management.
We are also commited to supporting the development of our industry and supporting our fellow event managers throughout the county and beyond with tailored training, event development support and mentoring. We offer 4 1-day courses in event management basics, marketing & event design, planning & operations and best practice events. Research, Consultancy & Business Planning
We can help you with any area of event development and delivery on a simple consultancy basis including choosing the idea, designing the event, logistics, site management, marketing, planning, partnership management, relationship development, supervising delivery of the event, mentoring, risk assessment and strategic business planning.
It might be for a general sounding board about your event idea, refining your event design, developing an event marketing plan, writing your risk assessment or identifying strategic partners who can help you make it work. Production Management
With our extensive experience in performing arts and media production, Event Devon offers production management services to take your event from planning to successful performance. We can co-ordinate and deliver all logistics, technical, set, costume and props aspects of a production as well as contractual negotiation, rehearsal co-ordination, artistic management and tour booking & management.
